Well this just beyond sucks...but I'll explain for those few that might actually be curious. First off, I'm STILL unemployed, for over a year now and am just having no luck with finding a job anywhere, they either require prior experience in whatever field (despite my ability being willing to learn just about anything at this point) or just don't seem to be hiring. I need income cause I'm just being a burden on my family and this just really sucks. Secondly I was playing Grand Theft Auto V last night on Playstation 3 when my system decided to shut off on it's own. I noticed a red light constantly blinking and tried to just turn it back on, but it went green briefly then yellow and then started blinking red again. I looked up that as I began to freak out and found out that my Playstation 3 is in fact...dead. I began to cry and continued to cry all night after reading this because my game is still in there, and all my save files are on that hard-drive, not to mention I don't have any money to even buy a new one. I'm going to try and contact Sony and hope that they can repair the system in some way for cheaper than a new one, get the game out, and won't mind me removing the hard-drive so I can just switch it back in when they send it back otherwise I'm sure they'd format the hard-drive and I'd look ALL my files.

Update: I called Sony about the issue, and was told that it would cost me $150 to send it in for repairs since the system is literally one of the first series of fat 60 GB models that came out, so I'm surprised it managed to last me this long. The repairs are still cheaper than a whole new PS3 but I won't have the money to do so. So...if anyone could help me out it would be appreciated but I'm not going to expect much in that manner since I'm basically a nobody and can't offer anything in return either.
