You'd have to check around to see what artists are doing commissions on ref sheets.

They vary on pricing, but range around 20 - 50 dollars depending on how many views of the character there is.

Then you just describe your character to them so they can get a feel for what they're drawing.
Some are cool enough to throw up a livestream or screenshare so you can help them out a bit.
