Noticing an aggravating conflict in my computer equipment...
So I ended up getting a set of Turtle Beach PX3's to replace the headset I had prior, and I love this headset, I honestly do. The sound quality is amazing, the internal battery on the headset lasts for roughly 9+ hours unplugged and it even has an auto-shutoff when no sound is coming through (after a 1-2 minute delay of course) so as to conserve the battery.
Here's the bitch of it though.
I've noticed that since I started using this headset, my tablet has been having issues. It will lag, it will react weirdly, it will even apply functions I didn't program into the pen's buttons when pressed.
I believe I found out why. It's the headset. The two are conflicting for some reason and I can't figure out a way to fix it. I've updated my tablet drivers repeatedly, I've updated the headset drivers repeatedly too. Apparently the next steps are basically messing with windows itself, and I am not going that far for a four year old tablet to play nice with my headset.
I think I need to start looking either for a laptop to do the majority of my art on with the tablet, or get a new tablet entirely.
Grr. >_<
