Hiya guys! Last year at AC (2012) the first day I was there, I saw a suit I really fell in love with. I watch a lot of fursuit makers and it wasn't a style or suit I recognized. I was hoping all weekend I would see him again to ask who the maker was. I even crossed my fingers I'd see it in the parade and get to take a picture, but alas I never ran into that particular suit again. Then after I got home I kept checking photo gallery's from AC, hoping he would pop up somewhere in there, but I found nothing. I know this is a long shot, but maybe someone can point me in the right direction from a rough description, as well as I can remember. He was really tall, golden in color, long pile fur or NFT that was like a "mane" I think. Blue eyes, and I think he may have been a wolf/butterfly cross? I seem to remember tendrils or antenna coming from the cheeks or top of the head. Possibly some wings. It was really, really well made and had great expression in the face. I wouldn't call it toony or realistic, it was somewhere in the middle. Eyes were not glass or acrylic. I think they were follow-me style. My memory of it is really hazy at this point, but it's been driving me nuts for a while lol.
