My Component ports on my 42" don't work. >.>

Any one have any ideas why my Component ports on my 42" Vizio 3D tv do not work? All it says is no power to the RGB/Comp will shut down soon.
I am thinking that there might be a solder joint that popped off of the component port? And I am not very happy about this as it is the first time using those hook ups and they don't work.
And I know they are in the right slots too. I even tried the component cables in the older Toshiba downstairs and it worked fine.
I am trying to hook up my old Wii in my room but looks like I will have to put the Wii U back into my room if they continue to not work.
I am thinking of maybe getting into the tv an seeing if all of the solder is put on well or if there are any cold or broken solder points on the component ports.

It might well be the solder points in the TV since Vizio, although a popular brand based on sales, is a low budget set. I've been pretty happy with the performance of our Vizio but it does have it's own issues such as a loose power connector, which isn't an issue since I don't often move the TV when it is powered on but it did bring to mind that you get what you pay for.
It sounds like you have a more advanced model than my own as I have skipped the 3D/UHD models for now until they mature and there is more content for them. Here is what I would do, some of which you already have done.
Test the cables. DONE
Test the Wii. DONE
Make sure that you have the input set properly on the TV. (An easy one to miss when you have several inputs of different types)
Hook everything up and turn it on then try the wiggle test. (Gently wiggle the cables and see if there is a loose connection)
If after all that you still don't have anything then you might consider opening up the set and checking for a loose connection or failed solder point.
If that doesn't work out either check the forums and the companies website, this might be a known issue with your model and there could even be a possibility of a trade in or an upgrade to a new set.
Let us know how this works out. I'd like know what you find on the inside and if it comes to it how your customer service experience goes.
Yes I have RGB Component cables but I actually had to put it on Comp/AV and not the RGB/Comp even though I did have RGB plus the Left and Right on the cable bunch.
I am thinking since the Wii with the component cables is only 480P is why it did not see it in the RGB/Comp portion of the port.
I also had to stretch the TV as well which was odd as the Toshiba RGB/Comp ports had it full screen.
But that is no biggie I'll just try to remember to stretch the screen when I turn it to Comp/AV.
