Laptop's busted, and based on my tests it's probably the motherboard. I might be able to fix it but I won't know until Monday, but thankfully my roommate lent me his old laptop to use in the meantime. At least I was able to stick my hard drive in this machine so I have access to all of my stuff.

If we can't revive this dead mobo, not a chance. The motherboard is by far the most expensive component of a laptop, and often costs almost as much as a whole computer.
