Art School
I'm going to be starting school again.
Or, at least, I'll be getting my toes wet, and taking it gently, at a pace that will be reasonable for me.
The school I'm going to go to is the school I've had my eye on since senior year in high school, four or five years ago.
I was considering going there right after high school, but some... I don't know quite how to say it--mental health issues?--no, that's not right--emotional hiccups/road blocks?--I don't know... Anyway, because of those, I kind of put that dream on hold for a while.
It's a program where I can go and take the classes, and learn and experience the school environment again. I'm going to be taking 1 or 2 classes at a time. Later on, if I decide to go for a BFA (which at this point in my life seems like a HUGE, SCARY thing that I don't want to jump into and commit to), I can put those classes' credits toward that.
For starting up, I'll be taking the Photographic Media class and either Drawing or 2D Design.

If you can't draw, design will be hard but if you can draw, then you can create more in design. That being said, with drawing skills, you'll be able to merge the two and utilize graphic elements in realistic illustrations.
And drawing also applies your skills to better fur arts :D
The person I met with who organizes admissions said that 2D Design is more about composition, colors, and what makes something aesthetically pleasing, and that Drawing I focuses mostly on drawing from observation using charcoal and such. I think both classes will go hand-in-hand with each other, and make for a good start to my art college journey, hehe.
I'm going to be taking 2D Design and Drawing this semester. The Photo Media class was too early for me to commute there and get there on time for the class. So I'm going to be waiting on that until later on.
