so as some of you may know I have been really
behind on a few my bills
and as of right now there's no way we can catch up
I don't get enough commission work to sustain me,
my job is a piece of shit, and even if I was able to get a
lot of commissions I hardly have any real time to dedicate
to them.
productivity is the very slow and I apologize for that.
however for us to not go homeless, we have no choice
but to have my dad move back in. which means we lose
the little bit of freedom we have.
I even offered to take my work computer back to rent A Center
the David swears that will not be enough to recover us.
since we don't really make any extra money this has become
our only option....
guys I really don't want this the only person in my house I can make extra money. Is me, but either I'm just not that good of an artist or
I'm just not worth a look. either way I don't make enough money in commissions. thank you to those who do Commission me I really do appreciate it. However this has already pretty much been set in stone.
and as far as my art goes I don't see myself being successful in it.
most successful artist know somebody good in the business.
I just don't know what to do anymore... after David gets his Res
I may stop doing commissions for a while. I feel like I need to do a complete overhaul on my artwork because obviously its not up to standard.
I'm tired of being passed up for potential work, just to see the same person go to someone else for the same idea. the only reason I do is because they're better tha me despite my price is being much cheaper.
so long story short David and I are out of money and out of options
our only choices is to let my dad move back in

Really wish I could help more dear.
Of course, the problem arises about, well... money. But I think you can still keep a computer. When or if we see each other again, I can help you find a cheap or free computer online. It won't run anything like Skyrim, but you'll at least be able to keep in touch with us.

Read the top paragraph that shows up in that hyperlink. Success didnt come easy for him either. It never does. And we're, here on FA, mostly just dealing with individuals instead of comic book companies where the BIG shots roam.
Either you have to stick to your convictions, roam outside your comfort zone for awhile to expand your horizons, study and practice more to hone your talents more, and not give up, or find another outlet for your creativity. But in the end, even if it doesn't make you money, will you be happy? Only you can decide that one on a long-term basis.
