Lol, I've had all shinies through evees through the years since the red/green generation. Most of them don't look too different since it's a faint tint. Umbreons was pretty cool though. My only shinies in X/Y though is Luxray and vaporeon.
I just learned about chaining and it's... still really hard for me. I usually just got lucky. x.x Getting on purpose seems impossible to me so far. XD

You could try using the Masuda Method when it comes to breeding... (search it up), even though it still took people over 100 eggs, maybe even 500 lmao. Hardcore people.

Tho when it comes to Friend Safari you can only get Eevee if the person who plays has defeated the Elite 4, since Eevee only appears in slot 3.

I have like 50 fucking Eevees right now, and I'm still going. Strange thing is how rare females are jesus, I only got like 5 female Eevees out of that.

Yeh, the percentages vary for each Pokémon. Spiritomb can be like 50% male 50% female, while Eevee might be one of those like 70% male 30% female or something.

If Sylveon has like a gray bar on @ his status screen saying "PORT" or "PT" or idfk (since I got a Pokémon from Germany and it says "GER"), then I guess you could use that, but I always like to go after Japanese Pokémon just in case lmao... and yeh, you can breed Sylveon w/ Ditto or Eevee.
