Ripped from my LJ:
First: I'll be about 6-7 months pregnant at the time of the convention. I've never been to a con before, so I don't know: would it even be advisable for me to go?
Second: I have no transportation of my own. Would anyone on their way to the con be willing to pick me up in Irving under your own conditions (y'know, pay for gas or something)?
