OH MAN! INSANITY AT SCHOOL!
I went to take the test after a last minute cram to refresh my memory, but then I realized that I had lost my test slip.
I went to my car to search, NOTHING. Sped home, tore my room apart, NOTHING. Looked in several other rooms I had been in, NOTHING.
So I went back to school to see if there was a way to take the test without the slip and... NOTHING.
I got so desperate that I started to head to the back of the campus to search where I had been hanging out. That path took me past the math department. For no apparent reason, I went in, even though I could see that all the doors were closed.
While in there, I sat down, about to sink into despair... when I heard some typing coming from the other side of a door. At first, I thought I was imagining it, but then I walked farther away to check. Sure enough, the light was on.
I knocked, and a teacher answered. I didn't know her, so I asked if the math chairperson was around. She told me no... but she said that she could possibly write a note to get me permission to take the test.
However, when I take the note to the testing lab, I'm told that they can't take that. I had to have a slip. The receptionist asked me if I knew the number of the teacher who had written the note, which of course I didn't know. So I rushed back to the teacher's office.
While over there, she called back, saying that she indeed had written the note, as she didn't have any slips in the office. However! She did happen to have some in her classroom... and it just so happened that in that last dash, I had come just in time to follow her to her last class of the day.
I followed her to class, she prepared the slip, I go to the lab, and FINALLY take my test.
A freakin' adventure, that was.
