just why can't i draw

Aaaaand it happend.
I can't draw again. Today i just sat during the lessons staring at blank paper sheet and couldnt move pencil. NOTHING
Same at home. No ideas, no energy.
Well I did just get new meds and I blame them. I hope its them. I heard that i will feel worse for a week but.. I didnt expect art block.
I dont want to go back to the state where i didnt draw anything for 2-3 months.
Theyre supposed to make me feel better not depressed about not drawing again ;______;

Mmmaybe if drawing isn't working for you right now, put those tools away and tear up some magazines and newspapers and do some collage. Or fingerpainting, or making fancy gingerbread cookie characters, or sculpey, or whatever, y'know? Don't fight it, because if it's not working you'll just get frustrated and despair. But that's no reason to give up making as a thing to do, just time to try some new tools.
And the dry spell won't last forever, and when you come back to drawing, you'll have some insights from these other activities that will help you push your drawing further.
