General
I would like to start off by apologizing for my recent lack of activity and communication. I wish to say thank you to everybody who has decided to watch me, despite what little I have to show for myself currently.
I have not been very lively lately due to my classes demanding a large portion of my time. There was also a scare concerning my grandmother's health two months back, which took the forefront of my attention for a while.
Regarding submissions, I had several pieces near completion three months ago, when my calculator battery died and the back-up battery failed to kick in. Everything was wiped from my calculator memory and, combined with my aforementioned business, has made for not enough time to complete anything substantial. Perhaps this is a sign that I should expand into doing pixel art on the computer - I might try it soon, though I recently got a new laptop, so I'm still setting up the default programs. On the bright side, winter break will be in a few weeks, which should provide me with much more free time.
Once again, a very big "thank you" to everybody who has taken interest in what I do. I do have a few things in queue to draw, but after that is done, I'd be up for suggestions and/or requests. Also, if anybody knows a good (free - I am on a college budget) program for filling individual squares in a grid, I would be happy to try it out. This laptop's default program is Paint, which has a grid, but the bucket tool fills the whole thing.

FA+

Though most programs will let you see a grid.
Better yet, why not just use squares?
