Pen Name?
Been wondering about this for a while! I'm curious if I should try to come up with a pen name should I ever start publishing books. I'm not sure if my real name is catchy enough! To those that know my real name, any thoughts? Or thoughts from anyone about what would make an awesome pen name?

Well, I've always liked the name Will, and one of the Grimm brothers was named Wilhelm. And since Nye is an actual surname, I was thinking Will Nye... but that sounds too much like Bill x3 I also grew up getting called Chris or Jason a lot, guess I look like a Chris or Jason. Maybe something with those? Though nothing really pops for me.

Well, the street name had multiple words that don't make any sense. Buuuuut... we could say Fred Ridge...

I guess it depends on the genre that you mainly write in. If you are writing about action and adventure you might try a name that sounds dashing or bold. Then again maybe something simple like one or two syllable names like Mark Twain or others. Check this out http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/arts-c.....ret-pseudonyms

Epic fantasy is definitely my best genre. I'm inspired by the Grimm brothers and old folk tales. With fantasies, some authors seem to use initials (George R.R. Martin, J. K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien), while others seem to just go with full names, though can be modified. I don't think my full name has any ring to it, sadly.
