Something I've been wanting to say.

I was talking with one of my close FA friends about this and we both agreed on it.
I just want to thank you guys for viewing my art, faving, watching me, and most importantly commenting on stuff. You guys don't really know how much power you have over artists. The more you guys show your support, the more motivated we feel to keep doing what we're doing. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I probably wouldn't be here posting still if it wasn't for you guys. I still remember being super stoked getting 20 faves on something, 40, 50, 75, 100+.
I mean, I kind of expect to be around where I am now when I've put 4 years into drawing online but really, nothing should be taken for granted. It'd be nice to be hovering into the stars but I feel content with where I am right now even if it isn't super spectacular x3.
Though it is kind of disheartening to see numbers for everything drop by 30-50% compared to what I was getting last summer. I felt myself slowly losing the will to draw and I still am. Not that its an entirely bad thing. Bad for you guys since you get less art but I've been able to enjoy my time reconnecting with friends and getting joy out of being a gamer as opposed to an artist. That and school...damn you school lol.
All in all, thanks for liking my art and thanks to you who actually read my journals. I guess what I'm trying to say is that as opposed to just looking at the thumbnail of a pic of mine in your inbox and never looking at it again, click it! and then never look at it again lol. You never know! There might be some candy or cookies inside lol x3. This isn't just for me, but for all artists I assure you haha.
Also, sorry about not replying to comments as quickly as I could. Just know I'll probably get around to it. Just takes me awhile x.x;;

Yeah sometimes artists don't think about it but everything thing viewers do actually does positively or negatively reinforces the artist.
1 person may not be a whole lot but there's power in unity. That's why I posted this just to let you guys know how much you mean to me =]

I think most artists do. Unless you're super popular. I find it that the ones who easily got to 100k pageviews/2000+ watchers/50k+ faves within two or so years usually say, "Oh, numbers don't mean anything. You shouldn't really worry about it". It's funny cuz they probably will never ever know what it's like when those things come ever so slowly xD.
If want for the few good friends I've got, I would have given these up long ago.

And I watch you because you are one of the artists that I see that has amazing skills. It makes me wish I had drawing skillz like yours.
And thanks man. I really appreciate it. I sometimes forget that being able to draw is truly a gift. It's kind of like an Athlete's syndrome where you only really pay attention to others that are better than you so that you have a milestone to break. Kind of lose site of what you have xD.
Just do whatever you feel will be best for you. Everybody needs a break sometimes :)
Haha, I don't have what it takes to take a break right now xD. I gotta keep going and striving for better xD
