Toaster I personally like it.
Even though the point of these Journal Pimps is to get the word out and get more people interested, especally get new people that may not know the artist or person holding the Raffle, its fucking annoying.
I hate making journal Pimps to join a Raffle.
Ive have to make SEVERAL in the past week to join raffles, and a few specific SUPER POPULAR raffles have been Spammed to Fuck and Im pretty dam sure its slowed us down. I watch THOUSANDS of people, so I cant tel you how often Ive seen the 1k Raffle pimped..
So now, if there is a Raffle, it will be nice to just post to get an entry.
And NOT have to make a journal.
Some Raffles may suffer because people like me watch SO many people and it may get lost
But it will make joining ess of a Hassle.

I love you (platonic I swear) :V Finally someone with the same opinion that I have.
i like the policy change because it doesn't disallow people signal boosting those raffles still, but it does however prohibit the `requirement` to do so.

Never was a fan of having to post a journal to enter a raffle, which is why I hardly ever enter them and why when I hold raffles, it's not a condition for entry. The 'spam' element's a pain, while I prefer keeping raffles for watchers who pay attention. Reward the perceptive ones!
