hey man if you like tailmouths, that's awesome and excellent and really cool. I just cannot enjoy them any more, they're not really for me, and even now I still get flooded with questions/comments/requests all the time for them (mostly on DA) and I just want to slink into the shadows and have everyone forget I ever had a connection with them :')

Being the furry community this is, the tail is usually doing dirty things to it's wielder. It got old pretty quick.

I mean it's never happened to me but I can imagineI though the idea was cute but it really did explode!
I know there are a lot of artists that make something that gets real popular and they
hear SO MUCH about it that it gets really tiresome. :<
But, there are lots of people (like me) who love you for your art work in general~
But I understand, and maybe some time in the future, it'll all be a distant memory. :>
yeah it's really just the fact that I get SO MUCH about them still when I've really tried to be as open and non-invasive about them as physically possible... like, people don't have to credit me, they can make any and all changes, they can do literally whatever but I still get questions like "can I put clothes on them?" LOL
And I could imagine that's really gotten old. :T
It seems no matter haw clear or how much you dumb it down or
how many times you say something, there's going to be those people. >_<;
It'll be okay one day, I'm really sorry something that was once pleasant for you
is now such a nuisance. That really stinks. :<

I have loved that you made them, and I cherish the fact each day that my sona has one. I thought it was a bit better for you though is mainly because you gave clarity. So even if someone's been drawing them, not making clear as to what they are sets you apart from others.
So, no worries. I still love you and you art (when we see it), so I am still chur fan's!
