I think all artists know that feeling. It's horrible..
You see the pictures you draw by yourself and you're proud. Then you see Pictures of Friends and others artist and you think you'll never be as good as them, and that you'll never reach for your target when others with better art reach for them as well.
I know, comparing to other artists is wrong, everyone says that and it's even what I think. Everyone began drawing some day and everyone has its unique style, you can't know how much time someone invest in their picture but it still feels so bad if you see someone, younger, just started drawing who is a million times better than you.
Argh I don't know why I'm writing this.. I guess I hope someone will tell me that my art isn't that bad or something. :c
Sorry for whining so hard. I just feel bad about my art and I have the feeling that no one really cares about my art as well. D:

You're work is great and even inspiring! I've been watching you for some time now and I am impressed since the first day I started watching you. I know how you feel though, I feel this same way mainly about my anthro work, I rly wanna start doing more and experimenting with some other things, but part of it is that I'm a bit scared to even try since I too feel I'm not that great of an artist. I recently have had one of my idols
Something that has majorly helped me through this past year is I look at a lot of my favorite artists works here on FA and think of ideas I could possibly make compared to their work, they help with inspiration and it never hurts to ask for pointers and advice from YOUR favorite artists/ idols! Deni has given me pointers on some things in the past and it just makes me feel a whole lot better when there's such great people like her to look up to art wise.
All I can tell you is to never give up and keep going, keep moving forward! You'll find your spark sooner or later (:

That is what I needed, someone that understands me and even had the same feeling, it's always helping when you know, that you're not alone.
I walked a bit around your profile right now, your art is really impressive so it's really glad to hear that you think my art is inspiring.
I'll try your advice and ask some of my favourite artists in time. I don't know, if you haven't give me that advise, I wouldn't do that cause I where afraid to bother them, they sometimes seem so far away, you know what I mean?
Normally I'm not that sad or whiny but sometimes I need to cry something out D:

As for contacting your fave artists/ idols, just give them time! They'll get to you when they can c: The least they can tell you is that they're busy or something important, just don;t be all stalker like xD *hugs*
btw, I'd love to do a collab with you some time when you have the chance c:
Aber dann gibt es immer diese Freunde, die einem sagen, dass man nicht schlecht ist und es nunmal Zeit braucht besser zu werden. Das geht bei dem einen schneller als beim anderen.
