Eh, happens all the time. It only really becomes an issue when you become extremely self-conscious about it. *looks in the mirror*

I genuinely felt like you were excited, happy and had really found your place when I met you at the con. Not shy at all. What you did took a lot of guts to come up to a bunch of people/characters you've known or admired (if even just because of their association with macro/micro) and say hello. :)

I've spent a little time talking to people about it and surprisingly a lot of furs I thought were really relaxed have this happen to them all the time. I guess furries in general are a self conscious breed ^^
Even the furs I nervously think are way too cool for me tend to have the same fears as me ^^... This is why I love furries. -hugs the giant bull-

I don't know if I will ever get over my fears, but I'm really glad for the support.

Also i tend to be a shy fur because I panic and either babble trying to think of something to talk about with the person, or i run away. xD; I also tend to panic about what I said for a long time.
