just about the same here too, but I've hated December ever since I was little. I loved the cold nights and warm clothes, hot chocolate, and pristine snow before the first foot print, and the times where it's quiet out and so peaceful.

but the cold, the nuisance of people rushing and trying to buy that newest toy for dear sally or tom or what ever child they bore while angrily stating how much they hate said child yet still go to lengths to spoil them.

That and because even though I was born in December, I've always hated that my family never celebrated my birthday. ever since I was born, I've rarely even gotten a happy birthday. My mom tried once in a while, but she was so busy keeping me and my brother and sister alive. Until she passed, then just about everyone quit trying.

only recently did some friends try to keep my birthday somewhat reasonable, but that day, that one day has never been celebrated on, or even celebrated well.

Merf. Im sorry. Ive hated it for others very different reasons. As for my b-day it's a black hole for bad things to happen. Lots of bad stuff always happen around it that leaves me horribly depressed.

i'll be sure to make you have a happy birthday then,... my birthday was a host to something very painful this year. i found who i loved, great gift, and was challenging myself to come out to my friends, bad part. i didn't really have a good b-day this year,.. but i did find love in it.

I sometimes forget my own, but I have an amazingly craptastic ability to remember other b-days, shit. I can't usually remember what I ate for breakfast, but for some reason I can remember about any character flaw, problem, or oddity of an individual.
