Intro:
I know it’s been a minute, but I think I’m ready to come out now. There’s nothing left to be afraid of, its time to move forward. I have been going through the process of rehabilitation in my happy place for almost a year now and I’ve learned a lot since I first started. I’ve learned to enjoy my life and rely on the friends that I’m able to see in person, among making new friends that I hold very close to my heart. I feel like a breath of fresh air that’s ready to take flight into the land of the unknown just for the hell of it. I feel like I’m capable of anything imaginable based off the adrenaline rushing through my veins. I feel like there’s no force in existence that can stop me from achieving what I desire. Things have definitely changed and this time there’s gonna be no holding back. There’s a storm coming and I’m the cause of it. I’m a free spirit and I’m lovin’ it

That was the intro from my new handwritten album Free Spirit. It's been nearly a year in the making but it’s finally here. Free Spirit is the result of going through a big heartbreak followed by retreating to your happy place for a few months by enjoying life as much as possible and having your friends join in on the fun. The idea for this project has been in my head ever since I started writing Best Furends Forever. After that I knew I had to do something that was the complete opposite, something that really lived up to my name. I wanted to finish this a lot sooner but the problem was I was enjoying myself a little too much, which is also a blessing in disguise. I really had a great year and I think this album is proof of that, especially on "Best Weekend Ever". I wanna give a personal thanks to my collaborators:

2025 Update:
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this album represents a huge turning point in my life, from this moment on I started living life to the fullest. I was finally free from the shackles of being chronically online and I was having real experiences for the first time. I was really happy, I finally had friends to write with, make memories with and it's all reflected here. "New Swagga" pulled me out of the depression hole I was in, "Best Weekend Ever" was a step into a new world, "Invincible" showed my growth as a writer and "The Spirit Lives On" was a tease of the future. For the first time I had a theme in mind wanting every song to be really up tempo and positive. "Hope" is the weak link here because it doesn't follow those rules. The pacing of the track list is great, a blast from start to finish. This also marks the beginning where the lyrics became less furry focused which ended up being for the better. Without Free Spirit I probably wouldn't be the man that I am today, easily my best work up until this point and I'm glad it holds up so well.
