I get to learn about the various machines we offer under the Husqvarna/Viking/Pfaff/Singer corporate umbrella (Yes, Husqvarna-Viking apparently owns Singer) and sell them to people. I'm really not a great salesperson because I can't be pushy, but I can give you my honest opinion about our machines and try to help you pick one that will suit your needs.
In fact, I just purchased one of the machines myself, since I was in need of a severely heavy-duty sewing machine to work on thick leather, vinyl, denim, and canvas projects. I bought it almost specifically to work on a project that I had to set aside about 2 to 3 years ago because I couldn't find a strong enough sewing machine to do what I needed done. Now I have one, and I am making quick progress =D
We are short staffed for the holidays though, so I'm working almost full time despite being a new and half-trained part-time employee. Due to this, I don't have a lot of time to devote to crafts, art, or any other personal projects this month. January should calm down a bit and allow us to hire another employee to even out the workload again though. I hope it's someone nice =3
Now, while I can't run any CV promos related to work or vice versa, I am considering a special promo coupon for anyone who stops by to visit me at work and check out our machines. You're not obligated to purchase anything, just come by, say hi, and if you're interested in a new machine at all, I can try to walk you through the features of it so you can decide if it's what you want or not. If you're not interested in buying a new machine, maybe you just want to see what kind of things we carry and what they can do, just for entertainment's sake. Goodness knows I've been taking serious advantage of my downtime at work to play with the embroidery machines XD
So here's what I'm gonna do for you guys:
1- Come see me where I work, let me give you a little rundown of a machine or two you might be interested in, give me your name and email address, and I'll send you a coupon for Creation Vocation products.
-or-
2 - Like us on facebook and when we get to 50 likes, I'll post a coupon as a big thank-you to everyone.
