Ok, so i don't consider myself to be a furry, but i love animals and appreciate good artwork and creativity. but i'm curious about something. There's an anthromorph of literally every animal real or imaginary on this site; some many are carnivores many are herbivores and many that would exist in the same food chain. my question is if an Anthro-wolf, tiger, alligator, saber tooth, was hungry would they be expected to go to a grocery store or is it acceptable for them to start eye balling the anthro-rabbit, fish, deer, cow across the street?
A lot of the art suggest that the two would go out to a restaurant then proceed to have raunchy sex some where. but would it be taboo in a furry world for anthromorphs to view each other as potential food?

No but really, I'd imagine there'd be laws that would prevent MURDERING random persons on the street just because you think they look tasty.
My thing is... Where DOES the sorce of meat come from? I'd say fish but you have those walking around chatting you up as well. Bugs too. I've seen some trees playing cards. Everything except the air would have sentience it seems.
"You gotta understand chief! Money's real tight see. i got cubs to feed, a family! nothin i can get from the store will hold them over till the end of the month. But that smug rabbit; always mocking us. With his stupid garden "All my protein comes from nuts!" That jerk. I was gunna give him a piece of my mind, but he ran. What could i do?!?! He ran; i had to chase him. when i caught him, it felt so right! Natures fury fed my family that night and every night for the next couple of weeks. And i'd do it again. For my cubs i'd run down a hundred rabbits!"
You ever think about becoming a writer?
At the same time, I guess the death penalty would come with a bucket of BBQ sauce. X[
All depends one what you feel is right.
But I do believe predatory animals may eyeball herbivores even if just for the fact of instinct, but I'm pretty sure there would be laws in place against murdering other sentient anthro creatures.
