people who know you can see the real you. i wouldn't worry about so much what people
see and say, because people are mean or just dumb sometimes.

its great to have a personal identity, i've lost mine for the longest time, before i recently
"found myself" so to have others affirm and acknowledge who you are is very powerful.

but you can't expect everyone to understand or be able to relate to how you feel.
i've a few transgendered female to male friends, and some of them are just "one of the guys"
but there are some who seem like they are deep down female because they just don't view
the world how a male would...

i try not to pass judgement but i do find it hard to 100% accept them as male when they
act too "girly" about things sometimes.
but i don't ever let it slip what i'm thinking because i let their actions tell me who they are,
there are certain friends of mine who understand and accept that i am gay, but then have
faulty expectations of me, like i'm supposed to be helpless like a girl, i feel like i have to
set up an explaination that " hey i may be gay, but i am in no way a woman. i'm a man
and think like a man, and am capable of doing the things guys do. " usually after getting
on my high horse something happens like i run away screaming from a bug, or ask for help
carrying something, lol ;3

(a concrete example of this was one of my friends assumed i would need help setting up
my audio equipment because i 'wouldn't know how to do it' )

but be true to yourself, and just know you don't owe anyone an explaination for who you
are, let your actions and personality speak for you, and you'll just fit in, and be one of the guys.
