Skype dear, why are you being like this? These last couple of days, you have been acting up and delaying my messages. That whirly thing you put next to my "outgoing messages" is starting to get on my nerves.
What? "Everybody is doing it"? You know that's not true! Firefox behaves as properly as usual, so you don't dare blaming your attitude on the Internet connection! And just because that WhatsApp kid takes ten minutes to send an "instant message", that doesn't give you the right to do it too, Skype!

*sigh* My Skype is acting all stoopeed...
UPDATE: Things have apparently corrected themselves. Just like that, Currently, I'm hoping things don't go back to stoopeed just like that...
I get the whirly thing indicating that my message is yet to be sent, plus Skype disconnecting and reconnecting. But things seem to be alright now :)
But now, magically, Skype is acting fine again. Let's cross our fingers so the magic doesn't revert to "stoopeed" :X
