Now that that's out of the way, I've been baking like mad. I know some would like to know what a CHEF is making for Thanksgiving, so here it is:

Roast Turkey
Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes
White Wine Turkey Gravy
Spinach and Cranberry Salad
Cranberry Sauce
Hawaiian Sweet Bread Dinner Rolls
Baked Sweet Potato Slices
Stuffing
Zesty White Wine Grean Beans
Pumpkin Pie

I am likely going to serve the mashed potatoes as an ice cream scoop in a martini glass topped with the gravy. There's another tasty variation of this classic that I've seen done recently, if you're feeling really creative. Take your macaroni & cheese & put an ice cream scoop in a martini glass. THEN pan-fry several kinds of mushrooms and some small steak filets together in a little olive oil or butter before topping the macaroni & cheese with it. Try THAT tomorrow, or try the more traditional mashed potatoes & gravy martini, for a bit of ellegence at your dinner.
