Here I am, humbugging it up all over the fucking place about spending my Christmas alone and my Christmas Eve at work...when all of a sudden my son and his mom show up with a plate of food and a present for me. Apparently, his grandma (her mom) decided to celebrate tonight instead of tomorrow (something they do on and off each year) and they decided to spread the cheer since I was working tonight, and he's going to be coming over to my place tomorrow because of it.

I...am legitimately surprised. I did not expect this at all.
