I can only say enough in Spanish to get in trouble.

Well that is a start, I my case the only reason German get me in trouble is because the local blacks and Hispanics love calling you a nazi as result. Might also be why only French and Spanish were the foreign language options in High-school available to me.

I see well that is sad. I know Spanish is the second most common language in the US currently, but no choice but, sad.

i went to a very small school though. They only had a teacher to teach Spanish

I see, my high-school was small because of its age and suffered over-crowding etc. as was my case.
