there are plenty of furry comics out there. this ins one of my favorites because it centers around a community that believes animals are people too

There's a good (and finished) comic on the web about a Wombat. It's hilarious, it's called Digger. http://diggercomic.com/ You have to hit the 'first' button to go to the first page, then read forward from there. It hasn't been updated in a couple years because it's already over, but it's still worth a read.
