I'm reading this interseting book, called " the Pillow Book"
It has lots of cool facts, like this page...!
and I quote :
" In the ancient cultures of the Orient it was customary to present illusrated erotic manuals to a couple before the consummation of their marriage. India, Nepal, China and Japan are the main contries where this custom long prevailed; only in recent times have these great Oriental cultures abandoned thr tradition. The gradual Westernization of the East has brought about many changes in attitudes toward traditional values, especially with regards to the role of sex and religion. In the new age of materialism the goverments of most Eastern countries have restricted freedom of sexual act as "pornography." As a result, illustrated love manuals have been banned, burned,or dismissed as a mere curiosites of the past. Percious albums of erotica have been damaged, broken up, and occasionally sold to inquisitive tourists and the occasional western collector's."
- End quote
I think this book speaks alot about the ban of porno.....
Alot of people fear the NEW, and to this day, are still conserned about ones body. You can hear people complain about how fat, or how ugly one is......
But to truly be free and let your nuditiy speak for you.....
is in my mind, the best for of communication....!
( I dont mean, wildily whacking of at the sight of a nude model, I mean, the freedom of expression...!)
I'm gonna keep reading this book, It says alot in the introduction already....!
So yeah, enjoy that fun fact...!
