Positive/Negative Outlooks
I am getting really sick and tired of these "Have a positive outlook" ignorant optimists. They continuously think that if you look at things in a positive light, things will turn out for the better. Many people will tell you how much utter bullshit that is. There are very few studies pointing that as a true statement while majority disprove it.
To have a negative outlook on life while acting in the hopes of positive results, would not be less conclusive than the person with a positive outlook on life. Fact of the matter is, you can, as I say in some games, play with the intention to win, not the expectation. In other words it is being REALISTIC.
Positive negative it doesn't matter. What matters is how you treat and act and how things pan out. You are not in complete control of your life, because you are not the big guy sitting behind the desk that's gonna hire you. You are not the one that is going to promise yourself a career in acting. That is someone else choice, not yours.
To be realistic, means you're doing everything with the intention to succeed, however this does not mean it will happen this way. When others are involved, it is a matter of who is the better choice, and what is the more favorable option in the eyes of the other.
So, if you're going to try to tell me, think positive, because things will turn out better, you are so wrong. For as long as I can remember I tried that and until I was 20, that was a load of shit. Same goes for hard work, doesn't mean you'll get someplace in life. There will be those that bust their asses for 30 years at the same desk job never seeing a promotion no matter how much they do to get that better position or better job.
