Why I wrote, and continue to write
I wasn't always told that I did something right growing up. In fact I was stubborn, an honor student, but stubborn as hell. One thing people always told me I could do no matter how old I was, create a story. And as the years went on I continued coming up with more and more ideas, until finally, November of 2008 came along. I started it as a fan fic, and it was not meant to be more than just that. I explored likes and dislikes, my strong points and weak points. When I finally finished, I discovered what I enjoyed doing.
Weaving tales of romance, war, betrayal, bloodshed, pain, heartache and even happiness be it as short lived as it may be, I saw what I enjoyed creating! My stories aren't meant to tell happy ones, nor sad. Instead, they give you a world to fall in love with, to grow with, to understand and see through their eyes, their pain, their victories, and even their times of joy.
When I started Twilight Wars, I never finished the first book, not until almost 5 years after starting it. I wrote the story, read it, scrapped it, rewrote it, read it, scrapped it. Time and time again, I would do this while feeling my story was not up to par, it was not meant to see the light of day until it told its own story. Not one that had been seen so many times before, but one that made you want to know what happened next. Not to give you predictable moments, not to show what's going to happen, but what might be.
When I created Twilight Wars, I wanted a world where people felt they could see themselves experiencing those emotions. Just because the way things happened, could never truly happen in such a manner, does not mean it can't create the same emotions for a situation that would create a rise of emotions, ones that you can feel proud for that time, feel sorrow with them.
When I created Twilight Wars, it wasn't for you, it was for me. But now that I love what I've done, I want others to see what I can do, and I'm not stopping til it's done!

It thankfully sounds different. I'm honestly a hater of cliche and anything else that's just commonly thrown about. While it has elements that are used in other stories, they're not so... 'mainstream' as to make it a 'dime a dozen' read you know? I do prefer my stories be unique in a sense that it takes what it has, and makes it its own. Not something that I've seen everyone else do before and make it a boring read I could find in a more entertaining 'original'. I know I sound fickle XD but anyway I think if you keep at it, write, get rid of ideas you question, or at least pull it out and see how it progresses with other ideas, you might find yourself creating something you didn't think you could make or would even come from you.

No matter to me whether you like to or not. I prefer on the whole book. I've already heard quite a number, and always here 1 solitary complaint the entire time. And each says it's overlooked due to how minimal it is, as well as because of the story itself. The third book is pretty much done. Just trying to make sure there are as few errors as possible, while also waiting for the cover to be complete by my new illustrator.
