Obligatory New Year's Journal
The big orca towers over you...
AKA: Kyoma finally got off his lazy ass and posted something! Only took him months!
So, yes, I haven't died. I've just been really busy, like before. I won't get into it too much, because honestly, it's still the same as the journal. Same job, same long-ass commute, same lack of time to get on here.
Same, same, same.
With the new year though comes new changes, and it looks like I'll be having several this year. The biggest will be moving out of my house. A buddy of mine (finally) graduated from college, and once he finds a job, he and I plan to look for an apartment together. With that, my commute will hopefully be cut way down, and in turn, I'll have more time to myself. Which means more activity, and hopefully, more writing. To be honest, I've missed writing dirty stories, so hopefully I can be more active in the coming year.
Speaking of writing, while none of it is really appropriate for FA, I've been more active in writing than I've been in my whole life. I completed another draft of my novel a while back, and now I'm making substantial edits to it. This will be the fourth draft overall, and the best one yet. I'm hoping, once I complete the draft and get it peer-reviewed, I'll have something to send out to publishers. Even if it gets rejected (and it will at first, all books do), the fact that I'll have something I'm truly proud to put my name will make it all worth it.
If you're interested in helping me out, let me know. Be warned, when I said "Novel," I mean it. Almost 80,000 words in this sucker. :)
Honestly, there's not much else going on for me. I work, come home, play games, sleep, and repeat. I can easily see how some people can "wake up" one day and realize ten years have gone by. I'm hoping that doesn't happen to me. I plan to keep pushing forward, even if slowly. There's no need to rush, but it is important to keep making progress. I plan to do just that.
Happy New Year! See ya around!
