I finally understand why (NYFB journal thing) (2013)

I finally understand why people write post-convention journals personally now. 

Went to New Years Furry Ball, and while it isn't exactly a convention, it was a completely new experience for me. 

I've never stayed in a hotel for any sort of meet and have never been to a furry con before. The NYFB was sorta of a combination of the two. 

I got to see so many of my friends, see some familiar faces, and also got to meet some new people.

It was very lovely to see everyone and spend time with them, and I'm glad I got to ring in the new year with such great friends.

The hotel was lovely, and the staff seemed very patient despite some faux paux (dropping glasses and such from people who were a bit drunk). 

The awesome people at furststate always run everything they do amazingly and their staff is full of the most amazing folks that I've been pleasured to meet. You guys always go above and beyond with your meets, and I want you to know that I really appreciate all of your efforts.

That would be pretty snazzy though Im wondering why nothing is ever held out in Frederick?! I mean its not like we're the second largest city in the state or anything...
