Heh, I guess my journals are now reserved for commemorating yearly events, seeing as my last journal was about my birthday. Oh well, it's better than completely disappearing.

Holidays are over for now, which means work will go back to normal. I'm completely okay with that, seeing as Christmastime in retail was as expected: busy, stressful, and frustrating. Now that everything has slowed down, I have a little more time to myself to recuperate from ten hour workdays and being sick for the last few weeks. Still, I can't believe it's the new year already. The holidays really flew by.

Because of the extra stress and hours, I haven't been able to draw much. Hopefully that will change soon. However, I have gotten to write quite a bit, and work more on my novel. I'm so close to finishing! It's terribly exciting, even though it's nowhere near print. I need to go back and rewrite large portions and just do a general edit.

It's also almost convention time. Due to schedules, unusual dates, and work, I wasn't able to attend a convention since Otakon in July, which is the longest period for me in almost a decade. However, Katsucon will be here soon and I'm already making lists and thinking of cosplays. Luckily, we have a room with some very close and trustworthy friends. Still need to purchase our tickets, however.

Anyway, I can't think of anything else to talk about. Ciao.

Edit: I'll also be remaking my reference sheet for my sona soon! Her name has actually changed to match my own, and her design has had some slight changes.

Finally, I'll be getting a new tattoo soon. Will post pictures eventually.
