There are three possible scenarios...

1) You charge too little-- thus getting a lot of commissioners and getting overworked

2) You charge the right amount-- you get enough commissioners and don't feel overwhelmed

3) You charge too much-- not getting enough commissioners and more free time

Also, with the economy being the way it is in a lot of places, you should also factor in how much that could affect your flow of commissions. I haven't been a watcher of you for too long so I don't know how good or bad raising your prices would be. If you have a usual group of return commissioners then it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Which reminds me--the links in your commission tab are all faulty and don't work. That's can't be too good either.

i didnt know anything about that. i dont know if it was like that before or this is something new that slipped n, but I dont know how to really work it unless im looking in the wrong place. Anyways, I'll try to fix that. and I was thinking of going up on my work nut just alittle, but i keep letting my work slip lately.

Well, just let supply and demand be as it may I'd say. If you feel like the money is worth it and you are doing about the number you would like to be, then you are probably about right. If you can't keep up with your commissions, raise the price a bit to trim them back.

well, I guess it all depends on how much time it takes for you to finish a pic, and how many people want pics from you. But if I had to say a definite amount, I'd say between 10-20$ for something the equivalent of that pic you did for me some time ago.

*nods* yeah. that usually what i charge for a full pencil pic with a background *$10* and a colored pic with a background *$20* and ive had friends buy more cause theyre not that much

yeah, im still taking them right now, been short on cash so i kinda have been looking for a way to get money. Been trying to do a few commissions to help me out a bit.
