Happy New Year 'n' whatnot.
One of my goals for 2014 is to get more art for characters other than Luxembourg. Nothing wrong with Lux, mind. She's my 'sona, and I love her to bits (I wanna kiss her on the lips). However the other butts are getting sad and feeling neglected. This includes:
Bringback:
An alien squid-type lady person. She's very grumpy and not a particularly nice person, used to getting her way and being spoiled with material things. However most of her life she was ignored by her father who is head inquisitor and not nice in a less tsundere and much more "torture people" kind of way. At some point she devised a plot to have him killed, but she was found out and as a result he branded her an outcast. Now she works as a dream janitor of sorts, cleaning up the psychic residue her species leaves behind in the dream realm. Part of this punishment is that she never gets to dream herself, so this makes her very weary and even grumpier. The dream residue can also have long term effects like causing mental illness. Oh dear.

Vespa:
A goblin shark who is maybe --just a wee bit-- unstable. She's trying to hunt Lux down in the storyline on which I've been working. Has an obsession with studded clothing and rivets (her primary weapon is a rivet gun she stole from a construction site; perhaps she's a BioShock fan too?). She likes to daydream and record said daydreams in a journal. Her goggles have the words "THE END" scrawled on them in white paint for some reason.

My Drell girl. Mass Effect fandom wankery. She works on the Citadel doing questionable aftermarket modifications to omni tools. Her parents were killed a long time ago by space pirates while escorting a Hanar diplomat, and she spent a good part of her early life in captivity. She was rescued by an Asari crew, and the captain ended up adopting and raising her. She has vivid flashbacks thanks to her Drell abilities, so it makes dealing with her trauma difficult. She tries to lose herself in Asari culture, dressing and talking like her adoptive mother. Wants to eventually study Asari music.

I've got a few other characters floating around inside my skull, so maybe they'll pop up too. OTHER GOALS include finally uploading some written material (if anyone is actually interested in readying my stories...lol) and also getting the rest of my commissions up in my gallery. Apparently it pisses people off when I just +FAV them and don't repost? Yeah.
