Caught it on New Years eve, which cut my festivities short, was in home and in bed by almost 10pm. That night consisted of body aches, shivers and what I am sure was a high fever, which I didn't check until the following day. I rarely get sick so I normally brush this kinda thing off because it's gone with in 24 hours... I am very glad I have to mother me sometimes, because I don't think I would have gone to the doctors as soon as I did if it wasn't for her. Once my fever spiked to 102.9 I got "the look" that if I didn't get an appointment setup right away and this thing didn't kill me... she would. lol So to the doctors I went later that evening, testing positive for Influenza Type-A, which is the same category that the H1N1 virus is in and can lead to pneumonia if not treated. Currently my fever is under control, still high, but I've got some good medications now and was set back about $200, but well worth my health.

Huge thank you and loving kisses to my wonderful angel that is looking after me... mind you this is an IOU for actual ones once I'm better. ;) Thanks for setting my man stupid straight.
