One man show -or- wanna help me get a thing?
I've graduated college and my band is scattered across the country.
Well that's not entirely true. I'm scattering myself to Arizona in just a few months, and it's really expensive to get 4 people to a convention.
I figured my little musical stint in the fandom was over, or at least the LIVE performances were, but then I saw Reggie Watts perform.
I'd known loopers existed for a while, but it never occured to me that I might be able to use one to come up with a satisfying solo musical act.
I've booked 2 cons so far and I'm looking to get into MCFC as well.
I bought a bunch of stuff and now I'm practicing. It's going pretty well but I'm missing one thing; an octave pedal.
I need BASS in my mix, and I've figured out that I can sing bass lines through an octave dropper. It sounds pretty neat.
This is what I need to complete my rig:

If you want to help me, go to lookleft.us and pick something up.
I feel weird taking donations. I'm not a charity, but I DO have a store, so hey. Shop a bit.
If you order a physical copy of "Waiting" I will include a special gift of... some kind <_< with your package.

I'll admit, you and your music really impacted me when I was starting to make music in the fandom. Actually, I was just listening to your accapella song 'To Be Lost At Sea, like, last night. I highly doubt you remember me from that one time I helped spread the word of your band at the the con after they messed the schedules up. It's Roderick, or ZizixMP3.
Haha, I've come a long way since those days... I mean, I'm the admin on Furry Musicians now, and I'm really loving it (and all the furries I get to interact with)!
But anyways, you're back! This is great. You should try making it to Furnal Equinox in Toronto next year, I'll be there!
Sincerely,
~Puppy
Little has changed as far aw snafus at cons but hey X3 the shows have gotten a LOT better.
If my one man thing works out, I can go to a LOT of cons I never have before. Basically I have to be able to cover the cost of getting there, and if I have a show and a dealer's table, that can happen.
Well, unlike last time I'm in a better position to promote your endeavors! If you'd ever like my assistance, I'll gladly give it. Just note me here through the group and we can talk. I'm on at least once every day, so I'll be quick to respond.

I'll have some con show announcements people might want to hear about, but I'll tell you closer to the events.
I'll be trying to bring my show to like, RMFC and the ones in your area once I'm set up in Phoenix.
I THINK the only thing you don't have is a shirt X3
Remember, you can name your own price if you wanna "tip" me haha
Hey! You never told me what you thought of the other albums. I'd love to know your unbiased opinion :3
A lot of my main loves are ones that I can sing along with, I especially love putting them on repeat and trying to sing along with the different harmonies. I've actually adjusted the EQ in my car several times to pick them out above the others so I can learn them easier. I'm definitely a music geek if you can't tell XD
I always get stuck on the recording quality and that turns me off to some of my old songs.
I'm glad that you like my lyrics. I liked them when I was writing them, but I never have any idea how others react to them; how much gets across.
I do the same thing when I listen to music I really like! Picking out harmonies is the best. I kinda wish I had a singer to do the melody so I could do backing parts X3
Honestly, I think there are a few songs there you could use as great audition pieces! Especially Look Away. It shows a great vocal range and control.
I'm not a fan of how I sang back then. I was all timmid and weird.
I forced it. Not smooth.
I agree though. the songs themselves I like, just not the recordings.
A proper rendition of old stuff would be cool. It'll happen eventually I'm sure.
You'll definitely have me supporting whatever you put out :)
If it doesn't work I can give you a download code to give him that will work for sure.
I got your order! I'm sending it out today. Thank you so much Laz ^^
I really do need the help right now.
You've gotta get to a con to see the show!
Megaplex? That one's in Orlando
I'll do some canned stuff. A bit or two.
JOKES
Hopefully you'll be at a con to see it!
will you be at Fur the more?
V.
I can do mouth percussion, and sing bass lines (octave dropper will make that sound really cool)
People can only take so much... singersongwriter-ness before they get bored.
Ya know, unless you're James Taylor

When it becomes economically viable, I will SO have a full band again.
maybe find some local talent and keep moving forward?
I'll be recording and performing all the while.
