Good for you sticking it out. And just so you know, you've got a long and happy future of asking for things from the VA and hearing them "Pffff no we can't do that!" When the college I'm going to wanted to have a look at my immunization records, that was the response that I got. Two weeks in and I'm still working on straightening that one out. Make a copy of your records before you give them back to the Navy at the end. Elsewise you'll never see them again.
