My Terms of Service!

Hello everyone, i have been needing to do this for a while but here is my terms of service. You will notice at the bottom we have a new company name and will be finishing our FA page for that one very soon so keep an eye out for that one to open :) Thank you all for your support and if you see anything wrong in this let me know and we will review it.

Terms of Service
• 50% non-refundable down payment is required (if over $100 payments are available to reach the 50%)
• We reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason. It does not happen often as we love making suits, parts and accessories. We will state weather the commission was declined. If it happens please understand there is a good reason behind it.
• The company will not make copyrighted character unless you have changed it further than just the name (I.E Pokémon, Digimon, etc.) you must change a feature on them (I.E Fur color, eye color, add hair etc.) There are copyright laws that follow those characters this also means we will not make copies of another person’s suit (I.E telephone, Radio, Flux etc.) If copy right infringement is discovered the consequences will be as followed.
o Original owner will be notified.
o Charges will be up to owner of copy righted material.
o The commission will stay within our possession and there will be no refund for stolen characters or concepts, this includes all art done by members of the staff.
• Courtesy to others is strongly suggested and enforced; there will be no tolerance for aggression or rudeness towards staff or any other customers on any of the associated web pages. Transgressors will be blocked and you will not receive your order, however you will be refunded anything over the 50% down payment.
• When commissioned, it is advised that the client give us all pertinent information for getting a hold of you this includes (Home phone, cell phone, Email, Home mailing address.) Or anything else that we could get a hold of you should a problem arise. The company will give you all contact info to reach the staff should you have any concerns or issues that you would like to discuss with us.
• If commissioned and you lose contact with us for a month or more we will try to get a hold of you twice if we fail to get a hold of you by our second attempt your commission will be considered abandoned. There are multiple ways of getting a hold of the staff should an issue arise, and if required a refund will be provided after the 50% down payment.
• Should you run into any issues do not hesitate to contact the company, no explanation required , just ask to be put on hold or inform us that the commission is being dropped and a refund will be issued after the 50% downpayment.
o If put on hold understand that your slot will be filled and you will be put on a waiting list for when you decide to come back. To go back on the commission list or wait list you will be required to make some sort of payment at that time.
• Due to other responsibilities and obligations, extra time could be required to complete your commission so the company will only take completion dates within reason. Do not request any commissions to be done and shipped within just a few days of when you need it. Should this happen if not busy the commission can be completed but there will be a rush fee attached to the overall cost. As there could be other customers ahead of you, such short requests would be unfair to others waiting on their products.
• If you need it earlier than what was set as the completion date due to the need to stop working on other commissions a rush fee will also be charged to the overall cost. The rush fee will be based on how many weeks you would like it bumped up, there will be a $50 - $100 charge per week (I.E if originally agreed upon date like 4/22/2014 and you would like it by 4/1/2014 it would be an estimated $150-$300 charge due to the completion date being moved up by three weeks.)
o The only way that a rush fee is not charged is if there are empty slots in our list, or you give us at least a two month warning of the date change.
• Once a suit has been purchased we offer free repairs for as long as you own the suit. (Shipping is to be covered by the owner.) If you should decide to sell the suit and the new owner would like to contact us, the company will offer discounted replacements and repairs to that suit. This offer is terminated if any major changes are done to the suit (I.E replacement of the eyes, nose, or any other appendage of the suit.) should an issue arise such as you are unable to see out of the eyes, or other complications please contact us, otherwise we will not stand by our contract to repair.
• Before shipping of the product, the company will photograph everything being sent before shipping the suit. Damage has been known to occur during shipping and the photographs are there to protect the company from being accused of sending faulty products.
o Should the suit arrived damaged please contact the shipping company and us, otherwise we will not replace it, we insure anything we ship so we will do everything possible to get the commission repaired.
• Minors; if asking us for commissions you must have the following.
o Parental approval if under age 18
o Should you lie about your age and commission us our contract for suits will be null and will not be covered under our repair warranty. We will not refund the suit as you failed to get parental approval and nullified all guarantees and safeties from the company. We will not be held responsible, for your actions.
o You will be required to show proof of employment, if you parents are not sending the payments
• Please remember the staff has other responsibilities like taking care of animals and other jobs which mean most of the staff is in contact with animals. So if you are allergic to any animals let the company know so that we can take extra precautions, if not acceptable do not use us for your commission. The staff at Mon and Ster Creations will not be held responsible for any allergic reaction, as we have given fair warning to animals in our homes.
