We buried mom today. It was a beautiful viewing last night and a gorgeous funeral mass. The tremendous turn-out was a great honor to my mother's life.
It was an honor to be a pallbearer and to carry my mother to her final resting place. We spent most of the afternoon and evening at my cousin's house with everyone on my mother's side of the family. But even now... I can hear my father from the kitchen talking with her...
We all miss you mom, and we all love you. It's not goodbye. It's see you later.
I am relieved you are taking this calmly though, I believe your mom is really happy seeing you strong as you are.
