Update time
First of all, I hope everyone is having an awesome new year thus far! Going onwards I thought I'd just post a small life update as to the things going on since its been quite a while since I've done so, and I know a lot of people arn't on the same page as to my "going-ons" hehe.
I got laid off on the 15th of last month. Because of that I've pretty much been unemployed and staying on north with family for the past (almost) month. Its been nice visiting, but I really can't wait to start being productive again. Luckily for me I have a new job I'll be starting on Monday, the 13th! Not too far away now! I need to drive back home to the twin cities tomorrow and gear up for it! I'm pretty excited but at the same time fairly nervous, which I suppose is to be expected. The new position is for the same company where I use to work so at least I know just about everybody, the facility, procedures, etc. This should make is fairly stress free from the aspect of getting to know everybody and all that jazz. The position itself involves software validation, hardware implementation, and domain/network maintenance at a global healthcare organization -before I left they were working on data acquisition from load cells to test product for validation,al done with a product called a SigPod so it'll be a fun job! (in what percentage I am involved with any one of those things, I have no idea) But time will tell once I start. Its a pretty nice pay increase as well so I'm hoping I can hack the job and grow into the position ;)
As for Hobby stuff goes, I really haven't been doing much. Lots of stuff kinda got put on hold. Hopefully I'll have more to report once things settle down a tad :)
Thanks all for now!
