Update! Not Dead! WAOWAOWAO

I'm not dead but I have been in hiding, for which I apologize! I have a backlog of things that I need to reply to (messages, comments, email, sigh), which I'm going to try to get through the next few days!
Here's some updates on what's been up lately, by way of meager excuses:
Started a full-time out-of-the-house lab job! we're on the cutting edge of cell therapy, and the training is pretty intense. This in combo with being surrounded by people all day is something that's taking some serious adjustments. Especially in the waowaowao suddenly surrounded by cishet people all day who are misgendering me? and then WAO WAO there are NO STALLS in the changing room (we have to strip down to undies and then don regulation super-sanitary gowning to go in the lab)... stressland, although so far the people have actually been pretty nice and I actually am sort of liking the actual job. Just not used to social environments, and also not used to normal society in general anymore? ahaha.
Holidays + grandma death + moved to a new apartment (still in the process of moving woops) = this is the first weekend with just vombatiformes and I since starting this job. And it's mostly devoted to cleaning up our old apartment actually haha.
I'm hoping that we'll get that hellhole cleaned out tonight and tomorrow, and then we'll be able to concentrate on properly unpacking and I'll be able to get back to commission work sometime towards the end of next week?
That's basically it, What this means is that I'm dreadfully behind on commssion work :( I will not be taking any more new commissions AT LEAST until my current que is finished. Unfortunately I can no longer devote my entire day to art, so my que will probably take a while to get through
(Commissioners, please feel free to instate reasonable deadlines. I will be contacting you in the next few days anyway to check in, but know that i'm happy to work with you in the meantime)
Again, I will be trying to update here over the next few days (I have some things to upload actually, and again plenty of people who I need to reply to/update personally), so please bear with me! Sorry for being a terrible recluse, my life has been flipflopped upside down and i've been very busy lately. But i think it will actually be in everyone's benefit because I'm roughly 14 days away from escaping crushing poverty, and am already much more mentally healthy just from working in a structured schedule for a few weeks and knowing that soon life will be relatively stress-free with regards to basic survival haha.
In fact, here's a checklist that I'll cross off as I finish things. If it's not crossed off I'm still going to get to it ASAP. If i've crossed it off but I've missed you please feel free to message me!

The new apartment sounds pretty good, much more room and stuff! Hopefully cleaning up the old one and moving everything in won't be too stressful. May this be the start of a much more streamlined and enjoyable new year!
