Sugar-Free Imitation Honey.... what?!
I was browsing my local Walmart looking for a new sweetener to try when I stumbled upon..
THIS HORROR
BEHOLD ITS NUTRITIONAL LABEL
No I did not buy any, I was looking for a low carb sweetener and, somehow, though it it sugar free, it is not low carb. Not that I would want to buy that anyway. It terrifies me.
What do you guys think?

honey comes from bees
end of story
(...And by sugary alcohol I don't mean the fun alcohol with sugar added :P I doubt you'll get a buzz from drinking artificial honey- although if you do try this, let me know so I can lol.)
Not that I've tried this stuff, but most people I know really don't like sugarfree chocolates either while I think they're great most of the time. I guess your tastebuds change when half of your daily calorie intake doesn't come from corn syrup?

Though while slightly on subject, what are people's options with Agave nectar? I've had some of the light variety for namely toast but haven't place it in teas. So has anyone tried it in tea and if so, was it good/bad/couldn't tell between that and honey, etc.?
*hugs*
My father is a diabetic, so I get the being on a limited diet. But substituting stevia, which has little to no effect on a persons glucose levels, is a good way to avoid putting this chemical junk in your body. I actually grow stevia plants in my herb garden every summer.
*SNOB*
Is honey really high on the carb profile?
