Supermarket chain Lidl has now banned the display of chocolates and other candy from being displayed at the checkouts.

Health campaigners are urging other chains to follow suit.

I don't understand how health campaigners expect that to prevent people from buying chocolate. If I want chocolate, I'm still going to buy regardless of where it is displayed in a shop.

Besides, what right do health campaigners have to tell us what we should and shouldn't be eating? Last time I checked it's my body, not theirs, so I'll eat what I want to eat.
