To be fair with my auctions (Snipers & grace periods)

since I have had people complain about "snipers" (people who wait till the very last second before an auction ends to place the final bid), I will be implementing 10 minute grace periods at the auction's closing that will reset every time a new bid is placed. that way people will still have a chance to get there bid in and don't have to watch the auction like a hawk.
example. the auction closes at 8:00 and someone places the wining bid at 7:59, seconds before it closes. in that case, the auction will be extended and will end at 8:10. and will repeat if another bid is placed before then.

This is usually a good idea and I've seen a lot of artists implement this system. Fucking hate.bid snipers... So you get kudos from me.

I had one guy who was the top bidder on all 4 slots of one of my auctions and he got sniped on the middle character and then threatened to pull out his bids on all the other slots. which would have been like an $80 loss if they droped to the next highest bidder since he was strong arming the auction since it was posted... was a pretty shitty situation but I totally understand that frustration :(

Lots of people use this system and it works great so it is good to hear that you are putting it up and using it as well

Had a friend have some problems with a sniper earlier. This seems like a good idea and should really be the rule of thumb. Good job ^^

on the contrary. i normaly dont have to do the grace period. if anything it allows for like 2 more bids. but yes i end up making a couple extra bucks.
