HEY YOU! YEAH YOU! ARE YOU TIRED OF BORING OLD JOURNAL HEADERS? WELL LOOK NO FURTHER! WITH GALE'S NEW CRAZY ALL CAPS HEADER, YOU'LL NEVER BE BORED BY JOURNAL HEADERS AGAIN!
Payment:
Generally, payment is up front. For expensive peices, I will allow half to be payed up front and half upon completion. I will not post the art or give you the full picture until I have been paid in full.
Payment is through paypal only.
Communication/WIPs:
I send out WIP's at the sketch, line, and flat color stages free of charge
HOWEVER, If you commission me, you need to be able to reply within 48 hours to okay any WIP I send. Please be active.
Failure to comply to this rule will result in:
1. I will not work on it at all until I hear from you, or
2. I will send you a note canceling the commission, to which you will have 24 hours to reply to or else it will be canceled with no refund.
I have no choice but to do this. I prefer to be in contact with my commissioners throughout the process of doing their picture. Anyone who commissions me can also ask for my skype if that is easier.
IF you have to be away for longer for some reason, give me an alternate way to contact you.
I have a cell phone with unlimited texting. I also use skype and I have an email address. I can also be contacted via FA notes.
Respect: I will ask if things are okay. do not ask me to change the lineart AFTER I have already colored it. It is a pain in the rear and if you do I will charge you a 5-15$ fee depending on the change.
Do not be disrespectful to me or say anything disrespectful about me. Doing this will result in me cancelling your commission immediately without a refund. I dont put up with rude people.
I put a lot of work into my art, so this needs to be respected.
Reposting:
I have specific rules for reposting my art.
1. in the artists comments, tag me using FA's icon tagging system. : icongalethuderdragon : with no spaces
2. Provide a link to the original in the artists comments and urge people to fave/comment there. I do it for others, I expect the same.
Do not critique me in your posting. PLEASE. If you have critiques, you should have said so at the WIP stages.
Content/Themes:
Content I will not draw: scat, chibi, cub, diaperfur, extreme fat or the opposite, giant ass boobs.
I will draw most anything else. If it is questionable, ask me and explain in detail what you are wanting
Species I enjoy drawing: wolves and other canines, deer, otters, dragons, birds
* this does not mean I wont draw other species. I just have the most practice/fun with.
Species/themes I am not great at (but will try) : felines, rodents, hybrids, herms,
EXTRA FEES AND CHARGES:
I charge extra for characters with tattoos or tattoo-like detailed markings. I am not good at them, and they take a long time to make.
I charge extra for weird anatomy things... (except on animals that have them irl such as a girraffe's long neck or a hyena's pseudopenis)
I, THE ARTIST, RETAIN THE RIGHT TO:
1. deny a commission for any reason
2. quit work on a commission if rules are not followed (with or without a refund at my discretion)
3. post the image to any place I wish, with proper credit to the character owner.
4. request that an image be removed from any site if the proper tagging/linking stated above is not followed.
5. I retain ownership of the image. You are paying me to draw an image for you to use. You are buying the right to use the image, not the title to the image (the sale of this may be discussed)
5a. This means I am allowed to use the image on any promotional material I may develop. (such as an advertisement etc.)
Further TOS will be added later probably. For now, this is it.
