After watching the direction FA has been accelerating towards, I can't in good conscience submit to this site anymore. You are often judged by the company you keep, especially in the professional circles, and being associated with a site that has proven time and time again to be incompetent at best, dangerous at worst for its users is not beneficial at all.
If you're tired of FA, don't complain about it; move. You talk with your pageviews and wallets, and there are now alternatives. It's readily apparent that FA will do nothing to fix its problems. Ever. And with the hiring of Chase and Zaush it is clear that FA has no regard for professionalism or your safety and security. And do you really want to be associated with a site like that?

One of the big problems recently has been the hiring of Zaush and Chase as developer and forum admin respectively. Zaush is a confirmed rapist and sexual predator, and chase often talks about and has committed zoophilia, with each of these incidents defended by Dragoneer. You'd think that a site such as this which prides itself as a flagship of the fandom would put together an ounce of professionalism, but then again I am often considered too optimistic. And that's not even bringing up the incident in which tarangryph was stalked and harassed by a user who wrote rape fics about her using her real life information, and she was told to be silent by staff.
Simply put, if you are not a member of the old boy's club that runs FA, you are not safe. I've banged my war drum on and on about the harassment that goes on, but you can only bang so much before you get tired. I cannot condone this site and its silencing of victims of assault and abuse, Dragoneer and co's defending of said abusers, and the disgusting nepotism that goes on. And furry fandom as a whole can never wish to be taken with even a grain of seriousness in the popular culture as a whole unless this site falls and takes such despicable figures with it out of the spotlight.
