Hello! I felt the need to do another tarot reading today...in fact it is a question that has been on my mind for the past few days: what do I need to improve about myself; what do I need to change to be better?
I believe that there is always room for change. My reading today pointed me to the Owl and to the Tortoise.
The owl's message is to seek out deeper knowledge to see through deception.
The tortoise warns that change should not be made simply for the sake of change.
It just so happens that the owl is one of my spirit guides. I believe from my reading the owl's message is a way of telling me to ask the right questions...that perhaps the answers I seek is not about what I need to change about myself...
This is reinforced by the tortoise. Change happens over time and I believe that these messages were sent as a way of telling me that there is nothing to change, at least not at the present time. However, the owl brings up an interesting point. I have my own uncertainties in life and sometimes I take things the wrong way. What is important for me to learn in this situation is to not jump to conclusions, not push for change where there is already balance, and to seek within myself the deeper questions close to my heart.
It is time that I take a moment to reflect on my feelings, my memories, and my thoughts and decipher my own heart.

On an additional note, I feel that in light of this reading it is important to point out to anyone who is interested in or new to the art of divination that sometimes the answers you seek are not so direct and that divination, if done correctly and with honest intent, is more of a way to find guidance in one's life. Tarot cards are a way for us to communicate with our spirit guides and sometimes the best answer is in fact a question. These questions push us to reflect on our inner selves and find the answers for ourselves with a little bit of guidance.
In this situation, my reading indicated that I was merely deceiving myself into thinking that there was something I was doing wrong or something that I needed to change about myself. The tortoise essentially shows us that there is no reason to fix something that isn't broken. In conclusion, I will need to meditate in order to understand what is truly affecting me and how to solve these insecurities.
